Hani Terraces, Yulong Snow Mountain, Duku Highway in Xinjiang, Nanhai Lake in Inner Mongolia - The online hometown activity held by the College of Foreign Languages recently attracted a lot of attention from students and teachers.
After the outbreak of the pandemic, in order to enrich the spare time life of teachers and students at home and promote communication between them, under the guidance of the Party Committee of the College, the Student Office, and the Party Building Research Association of the College organized this activity. The event mobilized students and teachers to take advantage of the rare opportunity to enjoy the spring scenery of their hometowns to take pictures of the beautiful scenery of their hometowns and submit them on the WeChat subscription account of the Party Research Association of the College. After the activity started, more than 100 students sent in their photos and videos of the beautiful scenery of their hometowns, more than 200 copies, covering almost every province in China, east, west, north, and south. After being selected and organized by the College's Party Research Committee, the photos were posted on the College's account PBSS, allowing students and faculty to enjoy the fresh photos of their homeland without having to leave home.
During the period of online teaching, the College of Foreign Languages tapped the school's propaganda resources and mobilized teachers and students to participate in the production and release of a series of WeChat posts to create a strong learning culture and spread positive energy, which was welcomed and praised by teachers and students.
