In the afternoon of June 19, a seminar on the departure of the alumni journey and a memorial activity for the 2019 graduates of the School of Foreign Languages was held in Room 326 of the Foreign Language Building. Qian Minfang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the College, and Sun Zhikuan, counselor of the 2019 graduating class, attended the seminar, and representatives of graduates from various majors participated in the seminar.
Before the talk, Deputy Secretary Qian Minfang firstly congratulated the graduates on behalf of the college, and carefully understood the graduation destination of the students and the employment status of the graduates. During the meeting, the representatives of the graduates spoke enthusiastically and expressed their own opinions. They introduced their further education and career planning, combined with their study, life and work in school, fully expressed their gratitude to the college and teachers, and said that the time they studied in their alma mater would be unforgettable for a lifetime, and sincerely wished that their alma mater would be better and better and cultivate more and more excellent talents.
After listening carefully to the graduates' speeches, Deputy Secretary Qian Minfang firstly thanked the students for their affirmation of the college's work, and gave earnest hope and the most sincere blessings to the 2019 graduates who will leave the school soon, hoping that all graduates will strive to align their career with their interests, change their employment concept appropriately and improve their quality continuously. After the meeting, Deputy Secretary Qian Minfang, on behalf of the college, received the painting and calligraphy works Welcome Spring donated by the graduates of 2019 to the college, which means a new beginning and a beautiful spring. Professor Cai Yongliang presented the calligraphy work Eagle Striking the Long Sky to the graduates recruited for the Tibetan program, and asked them to pay attention to their health and wished them a prosperous future. Mr. Sun Zhikuan presented the appointment letter of Alumni Director to the student representatives, expecting them to continue to care and support the development of their alma mater.
