In the afternoon of May 26, the fifth lecture of the backbone training of the College of Foreign Languages, Political Character of Young Students, was held in the lecture hall of the Foreign Language Building, with Mr. Qian Minfang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, giving the lecture, attended by the backbone of the Party building of the College, party activists, class leaders, group leaders and backbone of the Student Union.
In the lecture, Mr. Qian firstly put forward to the students the problems they would encounter in the work of class and group - unsatisfactory interaction between individuals and organizations, insufficient ability and so on. Mr. Qian warned the students that facing these problems requires precise positioning, insightful relationships, upgraded abilities, open time, more upgraded thinking, deeper understanding, more diversified perspectives, and more emotionally stable.
After that, Mr. Qian took safety and stability work as an example and talked about the relationship between mindset orientation and work performance, emphasizing that orientation expectations affect work efficiency and value, and emphasizing the consistency of values and diversity of methods in work. He pointed out the significance of safety and stability to the school and society, and asked student cadres to set an example when facing ideological conflicts, interpersonal conflicts and abnormal cases, to face them rationally, handle them appropriately, clarify right and wrong, and effectively maintain student and campus stability.
Finally, Mr. Qian hoped that the student cadres would gather consensus and work together; interact jointly and take responsibility; and progress with youthful students.
