In order to strengthen the ideological and political literacy of counselors, further improve the practice of student party building and actively and effectively carry out good thinking and political education, the Academic Work Office of the College of Foreign Languages held a special seminar and exchange meeting on thinking and political education in the morning of April 19. The meeting proposed to fully reflect the leading role of party building work in student education and management, to further exert the organizational power and appeal of student branches, to drive the cultivation of student backbone with party building, to thicken the educational atmosphere with party building, and to promote the construction of academic style and academic growth with party building. In this semester, the college will carry out research on grass-roots party building and thinking and government work, training for student party cadres, and competition on party building theory and practice, in order to meet the new requirements of party building work and thinking and government education, and carry out related work in a solid, orderly and innovative way.
