On the evening of November 19, Mr. Hao Xiaowei, a Meritorious Trainer of English Language Teaching, was invited to give a lecture on the theme of Introduction to the British Parliamentary Debate System in the lecture hall of the Research Building of our school. Mr. Hao took the game of The Last Parachute as the starting point and asked the students to choose different roles to fight for their last chance to survive. The lecture was well prepared and logical. The whole lecture was well prepared, logical and vivid, and was well received by the students and teachers. Mr. Hao Xiaowei's visit to the lecture made the school teachers and students realize the connotation and meaning of English debate, and learn in detail what is English debate parliamentary debate, how to analyze the debate questions and how to prepare for the competition in daily study; it not only taught students how to get started, but also taught teachers how to improve in teaching, which played a positive role in promoting the teaching of English debate in our school.
