個人簡介：
Prior to joining the Shanghai Maritime University (SMU) in 2023, Dr. Yu Yuan worked in Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology after he received his BA (in 2001) and MA (in 2004) in Applied Linguistics from Southwest Jiaotong University, China. He obtained a PhD in Translation and Interpreting ( in 2018) from the University of Leeds, UK on the CSC-Leeds Joint Scholarship. His research focuses on applying computational methods to modelling language users' behaviour and the process of language production, including but not limited to translation in particular. Broadly, his research falls in Computational Linguistics and Language Technology.
