In the evening of March 6, 2023, Cardiff University, an ally of The Russell Group, held an online presentation on the 1+1+1 Postgraduate International Exchange Program in cooperation with the School. This is the first year that the program has been offered in our college. Professor Michael Handford, Sian Benwell and Sarah Sherrington introduced Cardiff University and the program; Anar Yeerjiang, a representative of the graduate students, shared his experience of studying in Cardiff. Afterwards, the students were very enthusiastic in the Q&A session, and the Cardiff side also provided detailed answers to the students' questions.
Cardiff University, founded in 1883, is a world-class university located in Cardiff, the capital of Wales, and is the only university in Wales to be included in the Russell Group of Universities, which is known as the Ivy League of the UK. As an established university in the UK, Cardiff University has one of the best research teams in the UK and one of the best in the world. The enrollment of this program in our college marks the international exchange level of our college to a higher level, and provides international exchange and education opportunities for the graduate students who enter our college.
